The 2nd Annual Bar Business Spirits Competition will be held on March 7th, 2016 in cooperation with the Alcohol Professor.  The competition will be held onsite at the Nightclub and Bar Show on the floor of the Las Vegas Convention Center.  Top winners will be showcased on the exhibit floor where there will be over 37,000 expected trade attendees at the Nightclub and Bar Show

This trade-buyer-only competition will be judged by some of the top on-premise owners and mixologists from around the USA.  The competition is open to all commercially produced spirits and mixers from around the world.  You do not have to be distributed in Las Vegas or the United States to submit to the competition.  It is again open to all commercially produced spirits and mixer producers from around the world. 

Brands will be rated on a set of criteria including appearance, aroma, taste, mouthfeel and finish. Upon completion of the tastings, panelists will confer and decide which samples are award worthy.

Award levels are Double Gold, Gold, Silver, and Bronze.  Double Gold award winners will be re-tasted by all panelists to establish which brands may be eligible to receive a ‘Best of Category’ endorsement in its pricing category.

Winners in each category will become part of a roadshow presentation after the winning results have been published and promoted within the pages of Bar Business both in print and online. Winners will also receive a 2-inch round physical medal and the use of the digital image in their POS.
